Wow! A woman is suing Mars for their use of artificial dyes used in M&Ms. Apparently, her son eats the candies and the dyes cause him to be hyper...... Okay, first of all, how about maybe all the goddamned sugar? She said that if she stays home and makes home made M&Ms with natural dyes, he appears to be less hyper when he consumes those instead. First of all, yes, I believe artificial dyes really dont help anything and do carry certain dangers. If the dyes can be replaced with organic, Yay! However, I feel this woman is ignoring the elephant in the room. Besides the obvious SUGAR, I can guarantee that home made M&Ms have way less sugar and probably arent made or consumed in the mass quantities that Mars can put out. So suing a company over dye for your hyper child that you refuse to simply parent by reducing his rate of consumption.... Yeah, fail on you as a parent. Dont blame the company!
