Wow! Another powerful day. Jeff Fisher, principal at Chillicothe - TopicsExpress

Wow! Another powerful day. Jeff Fisher, principal at Chillicothe High School, gave an enthusiastic and passion-filled presentation to new and returning staff members to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. Jeffs father, Wesley Fisher and life-long educator shared a very inspiring story about how teachers make a difference. His life-changing experience came when one of his former teachers put the American author, Ralph Waldo Emersons famous quote on the bulletin board, Hitch your wagon to a star. That quote impacted Jeffs father in a most positive way. The seed had been planted and Wesley Fisher began to work on his dream. What about you? Will you begin to work on yours? Jeff Fisher, echoed the wise words of Tony Robbins, Anything you consistently improve, you will wind up dominating. Powerful words! The thing that inhibits people and keeps them from realizing their dreams lies in their inability to be consistent. Consistency is one of the major keys to success. My friend, Harvey Alston uses Douglas Mallocks famous poem to end his empowerment presentation entitled, Be the Best Sometimes he even throws in Emersons quote and closes his program in this manner. Hitch your wagon to a star; grab a seat and there you are, If you cant be a highway then just be a trail; if you cant be the sun, be a star; it isnt by size that you win or you fail; you must be the best, the absolutely very best of whatever you are. That encapsulates a mild interpretation of Jeffrey Fishers message to his staff today. Have a great week :)
