Wow, Dixie must love yall! Awesome plate lunch day today! Plate lunch: Roasted pork loin in Coca-Cola gravy, cauliflower casserole, and local fresh turnip greens from a mysterious stranger! Soup is roasted carrot and cumin and its phenomenal-- comes drizzled with coconut milk! Dessert is Warm blackberry cobbler with French vanilla ice cream. Christmas is right around the corner, folks. We will have some small, free-range, all-things natural turkeys in the freezer along with homemade casseroles and some extra cakes from Westside BBQ. Supplies limited, though, so come stock up this weekend!!! We will also be serving breakfast and lunch Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday just like normal, so load up your out-of-town guests and bring em into the BTC for a one of a kind experience. Well do our best to keep the local eggs, the fresh milk, the local coffee, honey, grits, and more in-store. Melissa at Mudline Farm will be bringing us something straight from the field Monday, so keep your eyes open for that! Plenty of gelato from Sweet Magnolia, including candy cane and gingersnap. We are YOUR place to bring the LOCAL to your Christmas table! We will be closing mid-afternoon for Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day and the day after Christmas (although Justin will be here baking cookies and taking decorations down with hot coffee and muffins if you need to swing by for milk and whatnot). Kitchen re-opens Saturday, December 27th, just like normal, with hot breakfast and lunch and groceries 8am-7pm.
