Wow! Here we are 2015! Gotta admit, 2014 is definitely setting the standards high for 2015! What a great year I had last year (one of my best, if not my best), so many highlights but here are my top moments by far..... - 6 page feature interview in #ModernDrummer. What an honour!!! - Being nominated as one of the top 10 Prog Drummers in the world by #RhythmMagazine through their poll - ultimate-guitar/news/general_music_news/opeths_martin_axenrot_named_best_prog_drummer_in_the_world_today.html?no_takeover - Recording the #Z2 double album. Was awesome to be the only drummer to record Devs Ziltoid material to date. - Playing MainStage at #SonisphereKnebworth in the UK with Metallica, Alice in Chains, Mastodon and more.... - Playing MainStage at #WakenOpenAir in Germany. There were many more drum magazine interviews through magazines like #Slagwerkkrant and #Drumhead, more killer gigs like the #ProgNationCruise and our awesome co-headlining tour with Animals As Leaders that stick out as well but those highlights listed above were my most grateful moments. Last but not least. You guys, the fans.... WOW, what can I say, It just gets better every year, every day!!!! Im so grateful to have you guys in my corner with the DTP and without the DTP when i do other projects or sessions. I love you guys and cant wait to meet more of you on the road this year!
