Wow, I am so disillusioned and disappointed. I recently joined this group, hoping to find discussion about Orthodoxy--doctrine, living a God-pleasing life. Instead, I find arguing, personal attacks, Christians taking pot-shots at each other, in the name of the Church and Christ. Why? What is to be gained by this? Paul said Come let us reason together.... I think he meant for us to reason together for the edification of ourselves and each other, to strengthen each other for the glory of Christ. Disagreements dont have to become bickering and condescension. How can those of us who are less educated in Orthodoxy learn from those of you who are more educated, but frankly, hateful in your responses to each other? This would also seem to be a forum witness to those who are non-Orthodox, and possibly non-Christian. How can this witness draw non-Orthodox to the true church? Are we trying to grow in Christ, or to show how superior we are? How are we glorifying Christ? Lord have mercy.
