Wow. I cannot believe someone had the nerve to write that letter. That makes me so angry. I feel the hurt she is feeling as she is talking. She is being so strong and at the same time you can hear the hurt in her voice. It is so true. Even me as a parent can say things out loud within my own home for my kids to hear about others that I would never ever say to them or to their face. Wether it be kidding or not, they are hearing and it is not ok. It is wrong : (I truly will try harder not to be so negative about others especially in front of my kids. Bullying Is something that I despise the most. It does come in different forms. From calling someone names, leaving someone out on purpose, talking behind someones back or hurting someone physically. We just all need to treat others the way we would want to be treated. We need to think about others feelings and really think about how they would feel. When I sub I tell all my kids that one of my most important rules is to be kind to others. If you have something mean to say, keep it to yourself. Say and act in kind ways and be helpful to those who may need it. I try to praise those who I see being a helpful friend or one who I hear saying Thank you or who is using good manners. When the others see them getting praise it makes them want to act the same way. This woman is strong and is beautiful. The person who wrote this. Shame on him! I feel so sorry for him and can only hope he learns from the response that he is getting.
