Wow. I feel sorry for the families trying to immigrate to the USA. But it needs to be done in a way that not only protects the immigrants, but us as well. TB is something that living in San Diego is a real concern. Not just with the recent chaos of whats happen now but for some time now. I find myself conflicted with what should be done but as this article points out Ellis Island was set up to protect the USA from diseases being brought into our company that weve managed to control. Im feeling angry about this on so many levels. First the stories about drug cartels selling false hope to desperate hopeful people seeking a better life - they have no guilt taking money from these people and then enslaving them in so many horrific ways. Im angry there isnt more protection at the border to redirect these folk back to where they came from - especially the children who have been sent believing the cartels lies that if the children get in the parents will have no problem. I guess all I can do is pray from their protection and for the safety of our Border Patrol agents. Im feeling quite confused.
