Wow! I got the honor of going with an AMAZING group of young people to pick pumpkins for decorating the church. But thats not all! LONG POST BUT WORTH READING. Pastor John Hammer is training up some powerful leaders that are gonna change the world. First, these SG students (as i call them) Sonrise Global School of Supernatural Ministry students. Came out, went into the field, and picked these pumpkins in pouring down rain, and had amazing attitudes of gratefulness and joy the whole time. and before we left, we had discovered that an entire 15-20 foot section of fence had been missing from this field that has been an exit point for the residents dogs. So what did they do? well before i could even think of what to do, They found materials on the farm, extra fencing, extra fence poles, twine, fence post driver, and were getting ready to install the missing fence. In the pouring rain, they went above and beyond and left this beautiful farm in a better condition than they found it. Then as if thats not enough, when dropping some of them off at Saint Johns Creamery where they work and live, and they invited us in to see their goats, and try some AMAZING goats milk, chèvre on toast with apple butter, and some sort of awesome Kombucha tea! (fermented tea, google it) These students of Pastor Johns school are so amazing, and i know it is a reflection of Pastor Johns amazing leadership and continued influence. If youve ever thought of doing the school, DO IT!!! your life wont ever be the same!
