Wow, I just had my ice bucket moment I woke up to a new decade, the big 60! I feel very blessed to have made it to this age, but I feel kind of afraid as I coast into old age. Im hoping to spend these golden years making my life count for my Lord, encouraging my family and helping others. (I may clean some of the clutter out of my house when I have time.) As long as we have health and resources there are plenty of opportunities to do something to make a difference. There is always someone who needs encouragement, someone who needs a casserole or gooey dessert. There are windows to windex at church, an old person who needs a hug, a young Mom who needs cheering on, a teen ager who needs a smile, a friend who is having a hard time that really needs a few moments of your time. One day I may have to get a gun to defend my country or just go VOTE. Most of all I want to spend time loving my Children and Grandchildren and cheering them on to keep serving Jesus. I dont know what tomorrow holds but I know who holds my hand. #takingonedayatatimeandmakingthemostofit!
