Wow. I just read an article about roles that were recast last minute. These would have seriously changed some great movies. Will Smith was cast as Django (Jamie Foxx- Django Unchained) but later turned it down because he didnt like the script. Robin Williams was Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson- The Shining) but was later decided he was too crazy for the part.... uhhhh.... what??? Frank Sinatra was going to be Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood) but couldnt handle the revolver. He broke his wrist a few days into shooting. OJ Simpson was supposed to be The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) but was such a well recognized good person at the time the studio didnt think people would buy him as a killer... Johnny Depp was going to be Ferris Bueler (Matthew Broderock) but decided he didnt want to be in a blockbuster film. At the time he was a teen TV heartthrob but hadnt been in a hit film. Could you imagine??? Those movies would have been soooo frickin wierd like that
