Wow, I just spend an hour to read all the posts and look at some of your pictures. It took me forever to find the beginning of this love-sharing-memorial of what must have been the best PLAY I have seen (so far!). Now, after being back in the real world for a day it feels about right to leave a post as well. Most important things first: THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING IT SO DAMN SPECIAL! - Seriously PLaymates, all of you! Even my tent neighbour, who forgot about his ringing alarm clock :D (Skins, that might have been you :P) - I loved this years PLAY as much as I loved all of them so far but this year was again so much of a blast, its hard to get my head away from the time in the field. I know why PLAY is my number one festival every year, and you guys proved it to be true once again. Although all of you did a great job there is a number of people I need to mention here: First of all Dunc & Rob, thanks for doing the masterplanning behind the event once again! You guys rock! Thanks to Ja-Ra for an amazing workshop timetable and great job doing all the handy work even with your broken foot! Thanks to LayRa for feeding us all and letting me rock into your kitchen at any time a day to make coffee ;) - I love you! Thanks to Jenni for the great work of organizing volunteers, shifts and all things in general ;). Thanks to Bryan for all the chats and fun during set up and the rest of the festival. Cant say that putting up a kitchen has ever been more fun. Special thanks to GeorgeRa and Jensleydale for their awesome participation in the PLAY-Gifts idea and lots of cuddles. - Speaking of which, special thanks again to Duncan for my very special play lanyard this year! You are amazing! - Thanks to French Shee for some wicked fun times, lovely chats, smoking and goofing around! I cant wait to see you in NZ. Thanks to my long lost brother Jake for just everything. Thanks to Magnus for the kind words and the enjoyment of my workshops :). Thanks to my long lost Common Ground friend Stacey for discovering the missing link between us and of course all the great works on the special athmosphere of this years festival. Very special thanks to Ruthy for being amazing! Honestly, you make my PLAY missions so much easier by letting me borrow all your stuff every year and taking care of us so much, you rock! Thank you Mr. Dave Jellybean for being a great friend and dragging myself up to the tree as promised - finally, after two years :D - YouRe presence makes PLAY what its ment to be! Thanks to Paul for such a relaxing massage which was well needed. Thanks to David for sharing the love and bringing all your instruments again. I hope you got them all back. Thanks to Mike, Emily, Chris, Ali and all the others of your camp crew for once again being amazingly welcoming. You guys are like my long lost crew and make me feel at home whenever I sit down in your living room. Special thanks to Linda for her lovely smile and joy and hugs :). Thanks to Effootless Slacklining for a wicked slackline area and even more that I could crash it for my hugging workshop! You guys where awesome! And thanks to the Spinning@ Crew for providing lovely shelter and drinks once again. I hope I didnt forget anyone - if I did please hit me next time I see you ;) - but my very last and very special thank you goes to Mari for being such an amazing partner, travelling buddy, drinking friend, hiking mate, juggling & slackline padavan and in general the best associate I ever had. So glad to have found you and that you came to PLAY with me. I love you! I cant wait for next years PLAY to come around but I know until then there is alot of fun to be had and lots of games to be played. Once again, all of you guys rock, I love you and wish you all the best! If you ever fiend yourself in the South of Germany make sure to send me a message and come over for a night or two. Any Playmate shall always be welcome at my place!
