Wow... I loved that ad, Ill admit, I kind of ate it up without stopping to think about it. I know plenty of gorgeous (and exceptionally intelligent!) women. There is nothing wrong with carrying your chemistry book in a pink, bedazzled bag! I also think, there is nothing wrong with exceptionally intelligent women who want to stay home and raise their children. Why must we all fit into the same mold? But, pertinently, why must we keep trying to make girls feel oppressed? We have more options today than ever before! Stop trying to make young girls into victims, and start allowing them to be whatever it is that brings them joy! Mother, engineer, teacher, physicist, dancer, doctor, whatever it may be...
