Wow I thought the little cats were eating my birds from the bird feeder. I saw something out of the corner of my eye pass the window while in the kitchen. I went to the window and saw a big hawk on the front lawn within 7 feet from my window. He had a dove pinned to the grass in his gallons. I went out the door and he flew across the street with the dove in his talons. He landed in the yard with the dove still pinned beneath him. I went over and clapped my hands and said get away and he flew off leaving the dove what looked like to me dead. As I walked over to the dove...it flew off.
