Wow Its almost another Thanksgiving again, and this time your are not here. Last year you were not well enough to eat with us and we were all at the hospital with you. Actually we were not really thinking about Thanksgiving dinner until our faithful FLFM church family; the Taitts, the Youngs, and Aunt Wendy Wilshire actually brought to the hospital a full Thanksgiving dinner with a turkey and all the sides. We all had dinner in the family lounge as a family with you in a near by room. But I told you all this at your bedside. Well here it is almost Thanksgiving again. I was thinking about you this evening. Im really missing you as this is the time that we would have been creating our menu for Thursday. You would want to tell me what to do and I would want to think that I knew better on what to do. LOL. I miss that! You would remind me to get that Brown Paper Bag to roast the turkey in It will come out better you always said, and it always did. Oh and on the actual day of cooking you would be hovering over my shoulder, and the stove. I would be fussing at you to go sit down and RELAX, and you would just say okay Im going, only to return a few minutes later to mess with me in the kitchen again. Boy oh boy I wish you were here to bug me in the kitchen this Thanksgiving. But I know God had a better plan. I still miss you though! You left me and my children in good hands. We still are with our FLFM church family and Ive made some new friends that I know you would really love. I am so thankful for all that you poured into my life mommy, from teaching me to be the person I am today to teaching me how to cook and instilling this passion I have for creating good food. Oh, and thanks for one of the last lessons you taught me. How to bake bread! Love you Mamar!
