Wow. Just gotta share this. This vinyl comes back to me in the mail as a gift from long time SF psy trance dj/ hero Michael Liu. Story goes, after collecting records all willy nilly for several years, i decided to pair down my collection to only srs techno music :| so i started giving away my mismatched records to my friends or trading in records for more techno… this was one of the records i had wanted to give away but i liked it still. the records by an artist named deedra, a dragonfly recording artist with really dark and artful psytrance.. and this record is the most scathing tech psytrance. just real rough hard trance.. it sort of matched michael lius style so i gave it to him at a skills rave massive; gotta be over 14 years ago. i was reluctant to part with it so i wrote my name on it and saying to him at the time, i might ask for it back one day ;) almost as in jest. and it arrived, almost out of left field from a time so far away. its looked like its lived a full life. definitely going to check the mix cd. im just really happy right now. the power of music.. to create these feelings, these stories.
