Wow! Just landed in CHINA last evening to the news that wed lost another mate! JAY ADAMS! R.I.P. Ive known Jay since he and Alva arrived on the North Shore as teenage groms in the mid-Seventies and paddled out at Off The Wall at the height of the Free Ride generations basically exposing Kodak Reef whilst they were leading the Dog Towns invention of street skateboarding as we know it in streets and pools of Santa Monica and LA. Weve been mates ever since through the good and the bad! Say hello to Buttons when you check in at the pearly gates!
