Wow. Just, wow. Having worked in music for many years and deciphered many, many songs in various genres for hundreds of students, music sometimes seems less mysterious and magical than it once did. Of course I still love music, but the part of my brain that tries to unravel whats happening in the harmony, melody and rhythm sometimes interrupts that part that just listens for pure enjoyment. But this artist creates music so startling and original that its easy to just lose yourself in the sound. I analyze and transcribe a lot of music as a teacher, much of it from young people wanting to learn new music, and seldom do I hear anything as fresh as this.
