Wow. My coach just shared this and I had to share it with you. This is one of the most powerful speeches Ive seen about surrounding yourself with the right people and really pushing forward with your dreams. One of the things that is the most challenging for me in my work is watching people stay playing small out of fear. It can feel like relief at first, to walk away from a big opportunity, decide not to work with a coach because of money, or keep hanging out in the comfort zone. Its WAY easier that way. But imagine if Oprah, Barack Obama, Al Gore, Michael Moore, Rosa Parks, Marie Forleo, Richard Branson, (insert name of anyone you admire here!) had played small? Think about the impact these people have had, whether you love them or not they have positively impacted so many people through their work and their inspiration. Imagine if they had all played small, where we might be right now. As Ive gone deeper into my own personal growth, committed to working with a mentor, and consciously chosen who I want to spend my time with, I see things in my life shift. Things I never believed were possible for me become possible. People who I admired from afar are now my FRIENDS, (yes, many of YOU!) As one friend remarked, hes seen his FB feed change over the past year. So have I and I LOVE it. I love seeing what such amazing people are up to in the world. I could easily write a whole lot more about my thoughts on this, but just watch the video. Id love to know what you think. Its made me look at where Im still playing small. Im pushing my edges every day in my business. Its so damn uncomfortable, but I know its what I have to do to have the kind of impact I desire. I want to scream a big wahooooo!!!
