Wow. Saw this happen a few years ago at Seacliff Beach, Aptos. Although, I heard the constant waves, suddenly, it became very quiet. All the birds had flown out to the ocean and all you could see when you looked at the horizon were thousands of birds diving for the anchovies with the humpbacks just like this video! What cant be appreciated is the smell of fish and all the spray of water from all the activity. As you can tell, it was impressive and something I will never forget.
