Wow! So none of you probably have a dog these obese, but its a good reminder to keep your dogs trim. Most dogs in the US are overweight. Being the right weight helps them live longer, happier lives. You should be able to feel your dogs ribs without too much digging and see a waistline from the top. Healthy treats are great, but balance them with the quantity of food and try to use your dogs regular food as a treat in low-distraction environments.
