Wow. So this morning I was contacted about Mikie (I like Mike better but am open to name suggestions), a 10 yr. old 44 pound rather generic looking cat who is way overdue to be euthanized. The kind shelter folks kept holding out hope someone could be found who might take him. They had contacted group after group and no one wanted him. Apparently he is a very gentle soul who just wants to be loved and who has spoken to many there at the shelter. So he is 44 lbs. - that means he is 15 pounds heavier than Albert was. Is that even possible? So through much networking and effort someone was located who has pulling rights at that shelter and has put a hold on him. He will be picked up tomorrow and held until I can arrange for transport to Flagstaff. As you all know I cannot travel due to my son and my animals. So - here is a huge favor I am asking - is there anyone here in AZ who occasionally drives from Pinal County area to Flagstaff? I will compensate for time and gas AND as a bonus you get to personally meet and pet (sign a waiver for injuries you may sustain) Walter......lol
