Wow, TIME, wow. I dont know who Jennifer Moses is, but I honestly thought your publication was a bit better than this. She actually writes the following: ...in 2002, the IDF went into Jenin during the Second Intifada, after Israel determined that the town served as a launching pad for missile and rocket attacks against Israeli civilians. Excuse me? No. Palestinians were not shooting missiles from Jenin. The town was seen as center of Palestinian militants, but no rockets were being shot from there. The IDF started Defensive Shield because of Bloody March that year. I cant believe TIME not only publishes this hasbara piece of crap, but that it doesnt fact check. And then Moses later writes: Facts are such nifty things, so solid, so sure. Yet we as a species don’t seem to cotton to them, especially when it comes to Jews. Oh, the irony. Dear fellow Hasbarists: We relish your stupidity.
