Wow! Talk about a screwed up shipment. Checked the status using the UPS Tracking Number supplied to me by Zulily and come to find out that the shipment is due to be delivered today – to an address in Doraville, GA. Here’s the thing (well aside from that not being the correct address) the shipping manifest says 5 boxes (yeah, that sounds right) but 18 lbs! – Really? 18 lbs and five boxes!! WTH?! (what the heck, not that other h word). UPS says I need to get in touch with the company that shipped (the manufacturer or their representative or some such) not Zulily since it came direct from the manufacturer. Zulily rep has sent an email to the manufacturer to reship (oh great, I could conceivably wind up with two 5-box shipments – ack!) and were really great in giving me a $15.00 Zulily store credit that I can use in the next 18 months to smooth over the fact that my very first ever order from Zulily has gone rather horribly wrong! Stay tuned for the next “episode” in what is turning out to be a Saga! P.S. My head hurts and I feel sorry for the person in GA who may end up with my patio set!
