Wow! This page is Fantastic... So many memories rushing back as I read the posts! Thanks to Pam Lewsey and the Drurys for taking the initiative! I was one of the GHS Founding Pupils... We started out on the Primary School premises and then moved to the high school premises one year later (or something like that!) Mr Saunders (Famous for Where is your hat??) and Mrs Barrett (Famous for ...des oranges... - to be said with a heavy French accent! - Lol!!) were our ONLY teachers at the time. Mr Revell was our Head Master and Mr Montague (Monty) was Deputy Head. I left GHS in 1994 (end of Form 3) (wow! a very long time ago now!) And can truly say that going to GHS was a life-changing experience for me!! I am still in contact with most (if not all) of the Good Friends I made there... Some of them are Lifetime Friendships - Im ever grateful for having met you Kerry Dos Santos; Karyn Viljoen; Erica Foster Jones; Amanda de Brito; Raq Uel, Baviksha Valla Patel; Preeya Daya Bhana... just to name a few! After leaving GHS, I moved to Geneva, Switzerland with my family then returned to Zim for a few short years before emigrating to Ireland for 3 years... For the last 10 years Ive been living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa... in my travels, Ive worked as everything from a Restaurant Hostess to a Small Business Owner... I have a Diploma in French Studies which I studied through the Alliance Francaise here in Johannesburg. I am also a Certified Office Administrator. My foundation at GHS serves me Still!! I have a stepson of 10 and my partner and I were given the Greatest Gift when I gave birth to the Joy of My Life in November 2013... our Daughter. Currently, I am Mommy but also work full time - not ideal, as all I want is to stay home with our New Baba! One day - maybe one day when I grow up!!
