Wow! Those New Jersey girls can really dance and there’s nothing quite as heartwarming as seeing a grown woman dance! Surely one of the most awe inspiring sights since time immemorial. Looking into the front row last night I could be forgiven for thinking I was an extra on The Hullabaloo Show. Security was a bit miffed but nothing bad happened, just a hint of an all out punch up but then everybody calmed down. New Jersey - always a good time! Even with my foot injury. (I’m not going to elaborate- medical details? UGH! I will say that I should be back in form in a week or so). Anyway, it’s not the first time you’ve seen me limping on stage. Cancel a show? Never! I saw T.M. Stevens in town (bass playing legend on the Get Close album) and he took this picture of the Count Basie Theatre with my name in the lights. Reminds me of the Talk of the Town single sleeve. Ok - I think I’m in danger of becoming a blogging bore so I will try to cap the pen and stick to my part of the deal - the shows. Last thing though - The Rails are getting better and better - amazing! xch
