Wow! Took Jeff Gardner and Constance Forge to dinner at Mannys Steakhouse last night. Got the Bludgeon of Beef (50 oz.). Wonderful meal followed by the MOST RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME random act of kindness I have EVER experienced by a stranger. First, the waiter insisted on desert gratis. Then, the waiter placed a simple white envelope on my plate. Thinking this was some new fancy way of delivering my outlandish, but totally worth it bill, I opened it and sat in stunned silence. Mom and Jeff and Scott Reinke were getting scared the bill was astronomical. Instead it was a $200 gift card on behalf of the waiter. I was absolutely blown away. Stunned. Shocked. What a most excellent way to start the New Year!
