Wow!! What an amazing time. I knew it would be good but Le Vent du Nord at the Civic Centre tonight totally blew me away. Brought my Quebecois friend Coco for good measure and me and the crutches rocked the night away! Wicked vocalizations and harmonies, instruments I have never seen in my life and friendly banter made me feel like I was partying around a huge fire pit in Jonquière, Quebec. The whole seating area was circled by intrepid dancers, and somehow my lack of le français was no problem!! Soooo good!!!
