Wow, deeply disturbing baby picture. Is PBS really trying to educate people? I placed a link for a live webcast from Ambassador Chas Freeman. that was to be held by the Carnegie Ethics site --- On PBS’s Charlie Rose show along with a polite comment on a post Chuck Hagel was talking about ISIS/ISIL. I used one of Mr. Hagel’s quotes to make my point that Mr. Hagel nicely pointed out the US is fighting an ideology. My post was taken down along with blocking me now from commenting on the Charlie Rose’s facebook wall. So I ask with this kind of censorship of a person’s comments is PBS and Charlie Rose in particular really trying to educate? Here is the post. “And social media: the sop...histication of their social media program” Mr Hagel nicely points out we are fighting an ideology, what genius among us does not know to stop an ideology you bomb it (joke). .Its time to stop pretending the United States assigns any real importance to democracy, the rule of law, or human rights in the Middle East. We pay for grossviolations of all three in Israel, support their negation in Egypt, and do not interfere in the politics of illiberal monarchies like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. -Chas Freeman. Ambassador Freeman will be here tomorrow at 5:30pm EST for a discussion on American foreign policy. Please join us via live webcast (at carnegiecouncil.org), as this event is sold out.
