Wow, even now watching this I feel the sickness in my stomach. We were watching this from my sister in laws house near Tryon NC, where we evacuated to. I remember after seeing this, being awake all night, and leaving to go back at daybreak, to see what was left. We left the kids there, and drove down I26 behind the crews clearing the way of trees and debris. Thankfully, we had a yard 4 feet deep in branches and limbs, but only a corner eve missing....our next door neighbor was not so fortunate, the trees I had feared would fall on my house, all fell on theirs........never doubt the experts when they say evacuate, and never challenge mother nature, she holds the cards, you could lose it all...............
