Wow its like flogging a dead horse trying to motivate our own people to sign the petition to bring our ting Moss Side Carnival home, its for reasons such as this that we people, can never progress with consistency like some of the other ethnic blends, we empower with our support and spending power. Supporting other nationalities is brilliant but tell me,why can we never support our own, this is a massive weakness in us that needs a bandage like an un-healing sore. I see our lack of support of what is rightfully ours as incredibly SAD & for all the struggles of our ancestors and winning over the oppressors respect of us, we still stand on the side-lines pulling our chin rather than pulling TOGETHER. Will things ever change??????????????????? well Ill just draw back into my own personal shell of responsibilities, and concern myself in my own matters and watch what we had fade away. I am so glad our Ancestors had more gumption in them than these lot, can you imagine if history had been in reverse where would we be now???????????
