Wow... its not often I am lost for words but today at Bay Bullets Junior presentation day I teared up with appreciation. I was so humbled by the wonderful parents of my little division 9 team who gave me a beautiful silver bead bracelet with a NZ silver fern bead... absolutely stunning, Ohr.. and heaps of hugs from my girls, as well as NZ & Aussie red wines and gifts from my seniors (last night), SERIOUSLY could my day get any better! I have been ever so privileged to coach some beautiful young and (older) girls/ladies within our Bay Bullets club and had really supportive mums & dads. It is truly worth all the time and effort when the parents, players and coach are working together to make sure fun, team ethic, enjoyment and skills are provided to our girls during the season... and we certainly achieved that... Both teams in the Grand-final Div 9 and Seniors! A special thanks to Beth Battle who continuously supported our Div 9 team and scored each week for us (even when we lost Ciara) Helen and Roni for stepping up and coaching the team when I was away and of course Shelley Paech and her beautiful team for training and working hard together with us. Congrats to the Senior and Junior players who received awards last night and today. Im very proud of our Players and very proud of Bay Bullets, thanks to those people that help keep it an enjoyable family club. Cheers, gonna open one of those bottles of wine
