Wow...just Wow!!!! As I sit back and think of all the things I have accomplished in my life, I can smile. I am not perfect, nor do I ever expect to be. Over the years, I have learned to accept people for who they are, what they are, and even for who they want to be. My parents taught me respect for others(of all ages), try not to judge but to just be myself. I am a head strong person who does say whats on her mind, I will cut someone short in their conversation(s), but I will not tell a secret. Being raised Navy, I was taught so many things by my dad. He was a quiet one until he got pissed, he was a man of many ideas, he was a man many respected. Being a Navy brat, I never realized all that I do now. The military is who I am and will always be. I have RESPECT and HONOR to those who have fought, are fighting and will be fighting for our COUNTRY!!!! But for those who want to think and be something they are NOT, and put yourself in the middle of things that you have no clue about...STEP AWAY!!! For those of you who brag, exaggerate, and not know how to thank someone...you are no better than those who dont have a clue. I do what I do because I want to...its my way of showing RESPECT and HONOR!!! Respect and Honor are 2 words that many dont understand. I dont want recognition for what I do, but a simple Thank you goes a long way. Being a member of an organization also means you need to be active in that organization...there are enough people who are members. There are many Veteran Organizations but the problem I see is that many dont know how to work together. It shouldnt matter what Organization you are a member of...the only thing that matters is our VETERANS!!! Last but not least....HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!
