Wow just sitting here watching the Leon Russell Induction Hall of fame. Leon is one of my biggest musical heroes of all times and had such little recognition in recent times and was such an amazing part of all Music. Back about 20 years ago, my Brothers were opening for him up in Sacramento and I got the opportunity to set up his Piano for Him, one of the greatest moments of my life. It was a very small venue and most of the young crowd didnt know him! To me I was in Rock and Roll Heaven!!
