Wow just turned down another cat. Hopefully animal advocates group can help her get it into the shelter. Its really bad here since the plant closed and all the kittens. People are dumping them all over. Another lady has 14 shes trying to rehome. Some are kittens and one she said found tied up in bag they were going to throw it in the lake but her dogs scared them off. This is what we deal with on a daily basis here. But Troy and I cannot do any more than we are and have to be sure we can care for what we have. Our county has no animal control and since Graham refused to pay Valley River a past debt they owed them they refuse our animals until Graham co Animal Advocates got them to agree to do it but there is a $50 turn in fee which no one will pay but they forgave the debt. So the problem is still there. Plus people are moving because of the plant closing which was our main and only place everyone was employed in this little town. We are very remote area and are 2 hrs from any major city. We have one grocery store, one vet and now no plant. Sad times.
