Wow! quick! everyone rush and post that the notorious huntsman spider is now in the UK.... Wait, whats that? Hold on a minute.... Oh you say it came off a crate from Thailand or somewhere, Oh well thats a slightly different story! Was it caught? whats that yes it was? taken to a zoo? does stuff like this happen all the time? ermmmmm,,,, well thatll be a yes then! Is it a consequence of trading with other countries to bring a wide variety of foods and other products into the UK? yes. Do you complain when you are eating bananas or some exotic cuisine made with exotic ingredients that you hate eating them? whats that? No???you buy them regularly? Well then panic over! so a spider came over in a crate, it was caught, and dealt with reasonably and responsibly, you have your nice foods and other products and the spider is alive.No threat to the citizens of the UK. So really the be all and end all is every one is happy and that theres a whole group of scaremongers out there!!! Think logical people get a grip!
