Wow... so where to start. I am out of jail and staying with Neal Cummings for a short while. After 9 days in jail, my mind is quite scrambled. 9 days that seemed like weeks. I owe so much to my brother Dennis and my daughter Layla for helping me through such a difficult time and for organizing the campaign to release me. I came very close to spending what could have been most of the month of November in that cell. I now have to try to rebuild my life. Neal has offered me work and a home. Others are also telling me I am welcome. I am deeply humbled by all of your kindness. I promise to thank you all properly when I see you. At this time I have no phone but will work to correct that situation. A huge thank you to Marian Rose for taking me out to get some necessities today; to Rusty Dodge, Neal Cummings, and Greg Anderson for picking me up at the jail. Russ, that was my first good meal in 9 days. It was great to go back to the Baked Alaska. I am well but shaken from my experience. In an effort to defuse an ugly situation, I went from the frying pan into the fire. I have learned an enormous lesson. I am unable to have any form of contact with the woman I love and the children I have come to think of as my own. My next court date is not until January 17, 2014. I hope to regain some of my possessions eventually, most particularly my car. There are many restrictions on my lifestyle now, so I may not see too many of you for some time. Of course, theres always a chance youll run into me at Video Horizons. I will keep you posted as to how things progress. To all of you who came to the courthouse to offer your support, my profound thanks. Cindy, Marian, Lynn, Jeff, Russ, Neal, Greg, Dennis, Liz, and others.... I owe you so much. My recommendation to you all is to never forget you have your friends and family. They are there for you in the darkest times. Something you cant get from our so-called civil servants. I love you all.
