Wow, there is so much to look forward to these next couple of weeks. Feeling extremely grateful today and always! I started setting up my classroom yesterday … I cant begin to tell you the anticipation and excitement I have for the beginning of the school year. I love love love working with the most intelligent and charismatic people. My Grade 8s at St. Marys have best be ready cause well be coming at them with some exciting learning outcomes this year. My hopes and expectations are high and I cant wait to see what kind of projects and ideas they come up with this year. My thesis proposal is almost complete.(whispering laughs in the background) Folk Fest is this weekend and I get to work and chill with some amazing Metis and First Nations performers and advocates at the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre. Come check us out! Saturday evening, Jean Baptiste is running at the track. Get your bets ready folks! And, last but not least the lake and highway is calling this gypsy spirit. Luckily, I have a handsome fella who is willing to brave a road trip adventure with me next week. There are just so many amazing moments that this summer has bestowed upon me and they just keep getting better and better. Sending love and happiness to you all.
