Wow, tough morning. First of all I had a fine evening in Belltown. I saw Gladiators Eat Fire whom I had never seen and they were great! I went home in the end quite pleased. I slept like a stonerbaby and woke up happy. I wandered out to the living room and was dismayed to find that Rosie had had the most ultimate shit explosion of ALL TIME. It was everywhere. On the floor, on the door, on the dog beds, on the couch, on the rug, on the side of the fn footstool. Liquid, lumps, slime. Everywhere. Ive been havin dogs for a long long time now and Ive never seen anything like it. Of course it was rather upsetting to my fragile emotions. So as Im on the brink of complete madness dealing with draping rugs over the deck rail and spraying them with the hose and pulling dog beds apart in the yard and hosing them off I hear a firetruck or somesuch pull up in front of my house. I went around front and its at my neighbors across the street. These people are really old and the man is my neighborhood buddy. He just thinks Im the burliest thing since Tarzan the Apeman. If he sees me in the front hell come out and talk to me. If he sees me out and about with the hounds he will never ever drive his car past me without stopping to chat. Hes one of the most welcoming neighbors Ive ever had. Which is monumental since Im clearly a turd in the punchbowl of this very affluent neighborhood. Anyhow, I wasnt going to follow the fire guys into the house so I went back to what I was doing. After a few more minutes an ambulance showed up. The paramedics went in with a stretcher and came back out with the old man on it. He was awake but clearly not stoked. Im not stoked either right now. Dogshit in the house is brutal and the concept of mortality is just a particularly harsh toke right now. My mind and emotions are a wreck. I hope the day gets better from here or else Ill be crying soon.
