Wow, what a Roller Coaster of a week it has been for Ben. Sport can be so cruel and so rewarding! Allen, started the week confident after a solid race in Czech... He had the honour of being the Australian flag bearer at the ITU World Cross Triathlon Champions and was in with a chance to challenge for a podium position. The triathlon gods had other plans for Ben, as he suffered a mechanical ending his chances. Allen didnt let the disappointment get the better of him and decided to race the O-See Triathlon Challenge the following day. Ben lead from start to finish and claimed a WIN on German solid. Allen said, A bitter sweet victory after yesterdays disappointing mechanical during the ITU Champs He showed courage and determination to set things right. Allen is now back on the Xterra World Tour racing Xterra England this coming Sunday!
