Wow….what a start! The pSoken Word took off last night at De Barra’s in style, quantity and quality. The opening Five Minute Muse produced some obscure and seriously creative writing followed by a Wrod-Fest of some great poetry and prose. Thanks to those who shared their work – Annette Skade, Ian Wild, Afric McGlinchey, Roger Cottrell, Michael Ray, Moze Jacobs, Simon Butterworth, Nick Smith, Eileen Murphy, Jean Gutteridge and Trace Irwine. Thanks also to the many who turned up and gave us your ears and appreciation. Many thanks to De Barra’s for providing the perfect ambience. There will be more! Next date, hopefully in November, will be announced later. Kudos everyone – couldn’t have happened without you.
