Wow, what a week. Glad I only have one more day of work, maybe can have some R&R for a few days. It has been a very emotional week for me. As a climatologist I have many clients for 30+ years. Yesterday I had client that I have had for 33 years. She has Alzheimers. Her bill was $22.00, she tried to pay me with 5 quarters. I have a client that I had to hold his hand to help him walk, he has Parkinsons. Then I have a dear client that had cancer around her mouth and had radiation on her neck. She has a very difficult time swallowing. She talked to me about doing her hair for her funeral. It breaks my heart. We get very close to our clients physically and emotionally, because we work within their bubble. We go through marriage,children,illness and sometimes death. I work incredibly hard to please people. Then I had the jolt that I am only the hairdresser....hummmmm
