Wow what a year 2014 has been for the Hildebrand-Johnson house - TopicsExpress

Wow what a year 2014 has been for the Hildebrand-Johnson house hold. So much has changed yet some things stayed as solid as ever! There was many times i had to question so much of what I knew and believed but to only come to a great foundation in what I do know and that is no matter the mountain or the valley our Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever! We went from Ryan having a job, 3 kids and a thriving church to 5 kids, me having a heart attack and us on public aid (which was a great blessing in many ways). However, we are going into 2015 with Ryan Hildebrand having a permanent full time job making more than before, having our 5 kiddos and still yet an ever thriving church. I give a shout out to Jesus Christ for carrying us even when we were in our weakest of faith, our church for standing with us and walking us through financially, physically and spiritually, and for our family and friends. Ryan and I are humbled and blessed in so many ways. Ryan and I started a journey in 2008 to walk the way of the Lord in everything. We felt called to be foster parents and in 2009 went into full time ministry. So thought we were crazy, out of our minds but we knew the voice of GOD! The Lord called me out of my job to be a full time pastor and stay at home parent, then the Lord called Ryan out of his. The Lord called us to start a new ministry in a place I never wanted to go, home. We lost some things that needed to go (lots of pride) and gained more than we could ever imagine (lots of humility and faith). I have seen things over the last 6 years I never thought possible in the valley and on the mountain. We have had kids come, go and come back. We have grown, I have grown; maturity is a process that never ends. The Lord wanted us to know what it really ment to rely on Him for everything and you will either go willingly or ... We didnt always go so willingly. We get a grip to this old world and think that we have gained it all. Just then Jesus walks in and shows us a whole different thought process of what we thought we knew and valued. Were going into 2015 better not because of wealth of things of this world but wealth in the things that truly matter. Jesus is on the main line and by His grace we are SAVED! I share this with you tonight to encourage those that are on a journey that blue skies arnt always the scenery. Where the dreary seems the most prominent thing you see. To you I say HOLD ON, KEEP going even when you can only craw. You will see the SON in the Dreary Skies! He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will make a way out, RIGHT ON TIME! Here is my song that got me through the last few years. https://youtube/watch?v=6uRFgTVT1bs I pray this ministers to those that 2014 wasnt so good and your a bit scared of what is to come in 2015.
