WrestleMania 30- Daniel bryan becomes WHC and has his wrestlemania moment and the streak dies. in one of the biggest shocks in wrestling history. As soon as wrestlemania went off the air i wanted to write this and get it off my chest. i was outraged at what had transpired in the taker match. and i wanted to put it all up on here what i thought of it. but i decided to have a few days to do some research and calm down and think this through. but before we get into it i will rundown the rest of the show and will finish with the undertakers match. so wrestlemania had it all this year. from great moments and matches to shocking moments and it all started with what i believe one of if not the greates moment not only in wrestlemania but professional wrestling history. the show started with hogan as i suspected would happen and should happen what i did not expect was to hear the glass break and walks stone cold steve austin! my brother and i were jumping out of our seats. i said to him after austin got in the ring (not thinking in my wildest dreams this would happen) How cool would it be if the rock came out now? then out came my favourite superstar of all time the rock. at that moment i had already got my monies worth. those three guys are the three greatest superstars of all time and that is indisputable. it was a surreal moment and my personal favorite wrestlemania moment of all time. all three of them put over all the guys on the card. all three spoke from the heart as well as some entertaining stuff. and i thought that it wasa great thing when the rock said that hogan and austin were the top 2 guys ever. ( which is true) the rock of course is number three but he is my personal favourite and always will be. it finished with those top three guys toasting some beer together. just an epic and magical moment thank you vince and the wwe for letting this happen moving on to the opener bryan vs triple h. the match that had the most interest and that everyone wanted to see was up first. and what a match. great story telling great spots great false finishers and just a great match. hhh deserves a lot of credit for putting bryan over in a big way. and for the fact that he came in awesome shape. hhhs entrance will go down as one of the greatestes of all time. the match had the right outcome with bryan was heading into the main. nice work after the match also to make it seem bryan had no chance of winning after the beat down. The shield pretty much squashed kane and the new age outlaws. it wasnt a great match but it was used as a cooler or a come down type of match for the crowd. but they did it by making the shield look good and with a nice double powerbomb spot to finish. the 30 man battle royal was a good match in the end. I dont really like huge battle royal matches its too clustered and it only usually gets interesting when 3/4 of the talent are eliminated. i love the fact that big show donned the andre the giant type attire as a tribute to him. i knew he would be in the final 2 he had to be. the inring work for a battle royal towards the end was entertaining and well done del rio got a good shine and koffi pulled out an amazing spot to save himself from an elimantion. i feel koffi has more in him to give and could be used so much better. and what a finish cesaro body slams the big show over the tope rope! that footage will be used in promo videos for wrestlemania in years to come. and a great rub for cesaro the guy who deserved the win got it and his push is on ! Cena vs wyatt. whilst i intially wanted to see bray go over i now believe the right decision was made. Cena is not past his prime he is still in it. wyatt got enough of a rub being in a high profile match with cena at mania without needing to go over. there will come a time when cena will give back but it is not now. cena is still the man. a great psychological match. it was good to watch with some nice spots as well. well done to both men awesome! divas match. it was another cooler match no one was interested because of what happened before hand but i am saving this til last. in the end the right booking decision was made and aj retained the main event. i want to say that all three of these men were superb. they all took big bumps. they all worked so hard and it was an awesome match one of the best triple threat matches you will ever see. what an epic spanish announce bump and timing by these guys. great false finsihes. i thought orton had won tthen i thought batista had won. it was amazing. triple coming out and being hit with the sledge hammer was epic along with the suicide dive. and in the end batista tapped out and its all systems go with daniel bryan. his major push is on and the sky is the limit he has the chance now if this is done right to become the face of the wwe. But all through this match something was in the back of my mind. something that if it didnt occur i would have enjoyed the main even more.... The Streak dies at mania 30. the timing was right. but the execution was wrong. and the wrong person i believe ended the streak. with that being said. i do now understand why they did it. taker for years wanted to end the streak with lesnar. they even kayfabed in 2010 at a ufc event. we all knew that taker didnt have much more in him and that it was nearing the time to end it. and it is an old school thing to do the honours when departing. i get that and respect that. and i also respect takers deciosin to drop it to lesnar because he has earned the right to pick who he wanted to end it. i now know and understand why both parties decided this. Brock lesnar is worth more money now then ever. and the wwe is going to use undertakers rub on brock lesnar and transfer it to another superstar. because the undertaker cannot do it physically anymore he is going to use lesnar to do it for him. the next guy that goes over lesnar is getting the rocket pack strapped to him in terms of getting a push. they will be the guy who beat the guy who beat the streak at mania. can they stretch this all the way to mania 31. and the headlines will read brock lesnar the man that ended the treak vs ... that is how the wwe will run with this. and by doing this in effect it wont be lesnar putting over this guy but taker through brock. i just hope they can stretch it to next years mania. in understanding all this... i still dont like it or agree with it. first reason. taker deserved tohave the streak end in the main event. and deserved a better send off. 2 lesnar is on the other side of his prime and his cpnditioning is lacking and he is a part time talent. some one like roman reigns or cesaro or even daniel bryan would have benifitted from this opportunity so much more. lesnar had already done it all in the wwe and his legacy was already cemented. being the ypungest wwe champion when the rock put him over. winning king of the ring , winning the royal rumble and going on to defeat angle in the main event. defeaing the udertaker in hell in a cell, beating hhh twice and cm punk. he didnt need the enormous rub but as i said lesnar will be used to transfer that rub to someone else. i dont ant to comment on the match because taker suffered a severe concussion. early on and its not fair to assess this match. all in all the right move was made in the undertakers eyes and that is good enough for me. he has earned it. He is the greatest superstar in wrestlemania history. the streak will never be matched. all good things must come to an end. his legacy will forever be remembered. and because of this the undertaker, the dead man will live for ever.
