Wrestling’s Greatest Lovers: Eddie Guerrero and Chyna.. While Chyna was teaming with Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero began flirting with Chyna, who rejected him on numerous occasions. After WrestleMania 16, on the episode of Raw that followed, Chyna turned on Jericho, explaining her actions by saying that she couldn’t resist Eddie’s “Latino Heat”. The two started to gain popularity through the following months until friction began to build, due to Guerrero defeating Chyna in the King Of The Ring tournament. In a tag team match where any of the 4 participants could win the Intercontinental Championship, Chyna defeated the team of Val Venis and Trish Strauts, winning the gold. A few weeks later, Eddie demanded to be added to Chyna’s match against Kurt Angle, so that he could protect her, but accidentally pinned his “Mamacita” to become the WWF Intercontinental Champion. Not long afterward, Chyna posed for Playboy, and Eddie did anything he could to stop the shoot from happening, including trying to enter the mansion. Chyna and Eddie were on the rocks and just as it looked like Chyna might leave Eddie’s side, Eddie proposed and Chyna accepted. However, about a month later, Eddie was shown showering with two of the Godfather’s hos, stating that “two Mamacitas are better than one”, Chyna broke the engagement off, and for one night only, the team of Triple H, Chyna, Billy Gunn, and The Road Dogg reformed to take on the Radicalz (Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn).
