In reply a reader decided to make the following comment about my participation in Walk a Mile in Shoes, which is a fundraiser for a Gillians Place, a womens shelter: The columnist is too busy prancing around the Pen Centre in high-heels crusading for womens rights in Canada. Fat chance he leaves his cozy job to join the military I am suddenly feeling a tad ranty...
