Wyatt Dwaine was born October 30 in Omaha. He is 8lbs 7oz. We finally were able to officially meet him today after I was transfered to a closer hospital. He is stable right now and in the nicu. They are talking about surgery next week to place a shunt in his heart so he will be getting enough oxygen. For those of you that dont know. Wyatt has hypoplastic right heart with tricuspid atresia, ventricular septal defect, and pulmonary stenosis. Which all boils down to the right side of his heart didnt form correctly and the oxygen doesnt travel to his lungs normally. We are looking at a minimum of 3 open heart surgeries in his life time. We are so excited to finally meet this little heart warrior.
