Xena stood inside the fence shed scaled and stared at the area in front of her. The dilapidated buildings, the forgotten rides spread out around her and gave her a sense of foreboding. The place the would be Squire brought her was a good one for hiding someone. It was clear no one had been here since the floods so many years ago. Well, beyond the teens looking for a thrill or the homeless looking for a place to sleep it was abandoned and dismal. She kept her hands at the ready and looked around, listening for any movement and trying to sense anything that felt off. It didnt help that her entire body felt off and she was shaking slightly. She forced herself to fill her lungs and take a deep breath. She needed her head clear and her body ready for anything. Letting the breath out slowly, she closed her eyes and then opened them again. She shouldnt question her decision to do this. This is what Rouik had warned her against. Barlow too in his own twisted way....
