The land consists of rolling hardwoods with a majority being white and red oak, upland pine as well as open land. All of open land is utilized and maintained wildlife habitat. Alfalfa, clover and chicory as well as sorghum, sunflower and millet make up most of the open land providing wildlife habitat out of this world. Original stocking in 2008 consisted 100 A.I doe out of the Patrick Line. Northern and Texas buck were then put in creating a deer herd unmatched. Texas genetics consist of Gladiator, Dream Bo, Secret Weapon and Kid Rock. Northern genetics are out of Maxbo Allstar, Maxbo XL, Maxbo Hardcore, Maxbo Select as well as Maxbo Excell. Free Agent genetics are also spread throughout Xtreme Whitetails. Free Agent was the World Record Yearling in 2009 scoring a whopping 392 as a one year old! All of these genetics doe and buck have combined to create a deer heard that is truly mind blowing. For the south east region of SCI Xtreme Whitetail Adventures holds 6 out of top 10 records with a gun. They also held # 2 in the world with a gun, as well as the number #1 deer killed by a female .An estimated 600 to 700 hundred deer currently call Xtreme Whitetails home. The genetics are one thing that makes the deer at Xtreme Whitetails so big, however their diverse habitat makes it all work. There are 250+ acres in perennials consisting of Clover, Chicory and Alfalfa. Perennials are the key providing massive tonnage of legumes at 38-40% protein. Combined with supplemental feeding these deer have all they could ever want as far as nutrition. There are 15 food plots with 9 Ranch King Blinds to enjoy your hunt in comfort. The lodge at Xtreme Whitetail Adventures is 4500 square feet with 7 bedrooms that can sleep 17. The dove and quail hunting is first class .The dove hunts are unbelievable. Management for doves is a 365 day a year thing at Xtreme Whitetails and boy does it show!! Quail hunting is a big part of what they do here. Last year alone they shot close to 20,000 quail. All of this is made a lot easier than most would think due to the fact that Vicksburg farm raising 1million quail a year is located 4 miles down the road. The fine bird dogs out of Illinois were trained by Bryan Camper and consist of 6 German shorthairs, 7 Setters, 4 pointers and 1 Britney. Not to be left out, to round out this sportsman paradise is the 28 acre bass lake intensely managed by Southeastern Pond Management. These bass are from 4-12 pounds. Forage fish such as Tilapia and Shad are stocked 3 times a year to keep these bass fat and happy. Coppernose bream are also in the lake and provide excellent year around bass forage and are also really fun to catch!
