Y do you go to church? Most people go to church to church for their own purposes other than than the main purpose for which the church was established. Some go because they think the church is a refuge for them to run to when they are in danger because perhaps they have offended their gods; some,to show off their wealth(dresses,cars,ipads,money etc) ; some to show their position/statuses in the church; others,to look for miracles happening in churches(they usually compare,this church z powerful,this man of God can do dz or dat); others to criticize yet they offer no ideas to make things improve in the church.. We the church have our purpose and so we fail to acknowledge the Spirit of God to lead the church and so most churches are ran on human principles and so most churches are failing. More people are turning away frm the church. Even the behaviors of some so called leaders of the church drive people away instead of winning them for God. People misuse the name of our Lord Jesus..a name when mentioned every knee should bow and every tongue to confess that He is Lord. We have lost power in the name giving the world a room to mock our Lord... We can praise man for the lik things they do. How many times do we praise God for the things he does,how many times do we thank him for everything he does for us,yet we keep asking for more and he gives generously without complaining. We humans want to be shown gratitude fir what we do for others but we even fail to show gratitude to the one who gives us life.. We need to worship God for who he is and not what we want him to do for us. See he said even if we do not worship Him,he can raise up stones which cannot breath to praise him. Imagine stones praising God,then we have become useless. Let us praise and worship truly the King of Kings,the one who can harm both the body and soul. Peace
