YALL BETTER SIT DOWN FOR THIS ONE!!...: ) We BEG and pray for miracles everyday. I close my eyes every night and think about all the babies left behind in kill shelters, on the streets, chained in yards, hoarded in basements and I NEVER stop thinking about our boarding babies! They too are homeless. They belong to no one. SO, who are our boarding babies? Well they are the dogs who many times have come from the kill shelters that we have saved but we learn later that they have special needs. When I say needs I mean they need special homes. Many have had pasts that have scarred them so badly both physically and emotionally that they need homes that understand and that accept and LOVE them for who they are. What humans many times have molded them into. April is one of those dogs. She sat in boarding for 2 years despite all the training, marketing, begging, pleading and networking we did to try and get her out. April like almost every single one of our boarding babies is the most lovable, sweetest, trustworthy and kindest souls you would ever be blessed to know. She craved human attention, she loves to sit in your lap and snuggle sooo hard and hated to let go BUT she could not go into a home with other pets. Nobody had room for her. Nobody would give her a chance because of this one little home need//no pets. As of 3 weeks ago, THIS ALL CHANGED! April is now the new resident dog of the Agape Hospice House and enjoying all the patients! Everyone loves her sweet kisses! She finally has a home that she has always dreamed of. She is surrounded by what she loves the most..people!! I can not thank Agape Hospice for giving her a chance when no one else would. She is FINALLY HOME! She waited WAY too long but now when I close my eyes and think of April, I see her surrounded by so much love and attention, my heart can finally smile! Now April can only hope that the kennel buddies that she has left behind get their chance too! *** I BEG all of you to come to our VERY SPECIAL boarding babies adoption/foster event Sat 11a-3p at the Petsmart in Cumming (1020 Market Place Blvd). They have no one to be their voice BUT YOU! So please help us get them from kennels to homes! **I also want to thank Brian and Becca for all the love they gave her while boarding with them.
